I used to watch anime a lot. Over time I ended up finishing around ninety series, with many more to watch later.

This page isn’t a full list. These are simply the ones that impacted me enough that I still remember them long after the story ends.

A Lull in the Sea
The first underwater anime I saw that felt visually stunning and unique.
A Silent Voice (Movie)
One of the first anime I watched centered around a deaf character. The story stayed with me.
Ajin: Demi-Human
One of the most interesting interpretations of immortality I’ve seen. The visuals made it very distinct.
Arashi no Yoru ni
One of the first anime I watched where the characters were entirely animals.

Fabulous Beasts
Possibly the cutest anime I’ve ever seen. I’m still hoping for another season.
Garo: Honoo no Kokuin
The main character’s hatred and intensity made the story fascinating.
Ginga Densetsu Weed
One of the most memorable animal-based anime I’ve watched.
Goblin Slayer
The first episode completely flipped the usual goblin trope.

The leopard-headed warrior alone made this one unforgettable.
Hellsing Ultimate
A dark and intense series that also became hilarious in the abridged versions.
Howl’s Moving Castle (Movie)
Originally watched for a school assignment, but it ended up being much deeper.
Hunter x Hunter
The Chimera Ant arc and the battle between Netero and Meruem were legendary.

One of the first romance anime I saw where the characters actually grow up and start families.
Junjou Romantica
One of my earliest introductions to yaoi.
Kamisama Hajimemashita
A romance I loved from beginning to end.
Kiznaiver
The opening song alone still lives in my head.

Gemstone characters was such a unique concept that immediately caught my attention.
Mo Dao Zu Shi
My favorite yaoi story. I even explored the live-action version and parts of the original story.
Nanbaka
Bright, chaotic, and surprisingly entertaining.
Naruto
Characters like Neji, Gaara, and Lee made this series unforgettable.

A classic comedy that still stands out.

Prison School
My brother recommended it and I was skeptical, but I ended up laughing harder than expected.
Redo of Healer
The first episode shocked nearly everyone. The revenge arc was intense.

A quiet romance that felt like a hidden find.
